Indian tennis sensation Sumit Nagal secured his place in the main draw of the 2024 Australian Open with a hard-fought victory against Alex Molcan of Slovakia at Melbourne Park. This marks Nagal’s second appearance in the Australian Open main draw, his first in three years, and his fourth overall at a Grand Slam tournament. Despite an injury concern on his hip during the second set, Nagal displayed grit, securing a break back and ultimately winning the match.
