Australian tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis has undergone surgery in an effort to resolve a persistent pectoral injury that has troubled him for months π.
The 28-year-old aggravated the issue during his five-set battle against Jack Draper in the Australian Open second round on January 15 πΎ. The following day, he was forced to retire injured midway through a doubles match alongside Nick Kyrgios π€.
