Flyweight contender Amir Albazi expressed his disappointment with the performance of and in the UFC Mexico City main event. Originally slated to face Moreno, Albazi had to withdraw due to a neck injury, opening the door for Royval to step in on short notice.

Despite Royval securing a come-from-behind split decision victory over Moreno in a hard-fought battle, Albazi didn’t mince words about his assessment of the fight.
“They both looked horrible,” Albazi commented on social media, signaling his dissatisfaction with the performance of both fighters. He concluded his message with a promise to return soon.
Amir Albazi, who boasts a perfect 5-0 record in the UFC, had the opportunity to earn a shot at the flyweight title with a win over Moreno. However, with his injury preventing him from competing, Royval seized the opportunity and emerged victorious.
As for the UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja, there is anticipation that he will defend his title at UFC 301 in Rio de Janeiro on May 4. However, the announcement of the challenger for Pantoja’s belt is still pending.
