Jake Paul Promises to ‘Embarrass’ BKFC After Conor McGregor Backs Mike Perry

Jake Paul has fired back at Conor McGregor’s support for Mike Perry, vowing to embarrass the entire BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) promotion in their upcoming fight.

McGregor, making his debut as a BKFC co-owner at a press conference in Spain, criticized Paul while praising Perry. “You can make a name for yourself in BKFC,” McGregor said. “Look at Michael Perry, who’s risen to prominence here. Now he’s up against a ‘little dweeb’ in this weekend’s fight, and we’re all rooting for him.”

In response, Paul addressed McGregor’s comments at a press conference in Tampa, Florida. “You’ll see what I do to their best fighter on Saturday night,” Paul said. “I’m going to embarrass their entire league. These BKFC fighters are just brawlers with no understanding of the sweet science. Conor McGregor can say whatever he wants, but he won’t fight me. After I knock out Mike Perry, let’s make it happen with McGregor. He won’t take the fight because he knows what’ll happen. Just look at what I did to Nate Diaz, who fought McGregor.”

Paul also took a jab at McGregor’s fitness, adding, “Conor, lay off the cocaine, get in the gym, and start winning fights. Maybe then we can talk.”

Perry, offended by Paul’s comments about BKFC fighters, defended his colleagues. “He’s a disrespectful punk,” Perry said. “The fighters here put it all on the line for their families and entertain the fans.”

Paul and Perry will settle their differences in an eight-round boxing match at 200 pounds on Saturday at Amalie Arena, streaming live on DAZN pay-per-view.
