Harry Kane has made history in the Bundesliga by becoming the fastest player to score six hat-tricks, achieving this remarkable feat in just 39 matches. The England captain reached the milestone during Bayern Munich’s emphatic victory over Stuttgart on Saturday, netting three goals in the process.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham last summer, Kane has showcased his exceptional talent, amassing an impressive 44 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions. Under the guidance of new manager Vincent Kompany, Kane’s stellar form continues. As his hat-trick against Stuttgart brought his season total to 13 goals after just 10 games.
Kane’s six hat-tricks in the German top flight now place him in the Bundesliga record books. The previous record holder, Dieter Müller, achieved this milestone in 118 games, while the legendary Gerd Müller required 127 matches to score six hat-tricks. Even prolific scorer Erling Haaland, who has made headlines for his goal-scoring prowess. Managed only three hat-tricks during his two seasons at Borussia Dortmund.
Kane’s historic achievement came after a goalless first half against Stuttgart, marking the end of a mini drought during which he had not scored in three consecutive Bayern matches. He broke the deadlock just before the hour mark with a stunning low drive from 30 yards that found the bottom corner of the net. Three minutes later, he doubled his tally by scoring on a rebound after his initial shot was blocked. Kane completed his hat-trick with a tap-in 10 minutes from time, sealing a comprehensive victory for Bayern and ensuring they remain at the top of the Bundesliga.

Reflecting on his performance, Kane expressed satisfaction in securing the match ball, stating, “We played well. The first goal was very important. It opened the game up. I always have faith in myself. It’s how it is being a striker. If you don’t score, then there are questions asked. I’m just happy. In the second half, we stepped it up a notch, and Stuttgart couldn’t keep up.”
Kompany also came to Kane’s defense during a post-match interview, emphasizing his unwavering confidence in the striker’s abilities. “To be honest, I didn’t waste any seconds thinking about whether he scored or not [in the past games]. I know what qualities he has. He’s always hungry, even in training. Sometimes we forget how hard Harry works for the team,” he said.
Kompany added, “He’s always scored goals and will always score goals. That won’t change. We had to be patient. I had the feeling that we could work our chances a little better. Stuttgart are a great side. It was a very good performance. After the first half, it was all about staying calm. I’m very happy with the result.”
Kane’s remarkable accomplishment has not only solidified his place in Bundesliga history but also highlighted his vital role in Bayern Munich’s pursuit of success this season.
