🔵 Jorgensen Named Chelsea’s No.1 Keeper 🧤– Chelsea Hit by Jackson Injury Blow 🚑⚽

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Filip Jorgensen (22) is now the club’s first-choice goalkeeper 🧤🔵.

Jorgensen started in Chelsea’s recent 3-1 win over WestHam, replacing Robert Sanchez, who has been under scrutiny for his errors. Sanchez has made five mistakes leading to goals this season—the joint-most in the Premier League ❌.

Sanchez returned for Chelsea’s FA Cup defeat to Brighton (2-1) but Maresca made it clear that Jorgensen remains his No.1 choice ✅.

🗣️ Maresca: “Filip played against West Ham to give Robert time to recover mentally and physically. But we’re not rotating game by game—our keeper at the moment is Filip.”

🚨 🔹 Jackson Ruled Out for Up to 8 Weeks! ❌⚽

Chelsea have suffered a major blow as striker Nicolas Jackson (23) has been ruled out for 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury 😔.

Jackson limped off in the West Ham game, and while initial hopes were for a minor setback, scans revealed the damage is more serious than expected. With 9 goals this season, he is Chelsea’s second-highest scorer behind Cole Palmer (14) 🎯.

Adding to Chelsea’s woes, Marc Guiu also picked up a serious groin injury in the same match, leaving the Blues without a natural No.9 🚑.

🗣️ Maresca: “We knew it was a muscle problem, but not how serious. Unfortunately, the scan confirmed it’s a big injury. He should return after the international break.”

🔵 Who Will Lead Chelsea’s Attack?

With no recognised striker available, Maresca hinted at alternatives:
🔹 Christopher Nkunku & Cole Palmer could play as false nines 🎯
🔹 Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke & Tyrique George are also attacking options ⚡
