UP Warriorz (UPW) have replaced Alyssa Healy with Chinelle Henry after a stress injury in Healy’s right foot ruled her out of WPL 2025. Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have brought in Heather Graham and Kim Garth to replace Sophie Devine and Kate Cross. Devine has opted for a break from cricket, while Cross has been out since December with a back injury. All three replacements were signed for INR 30 lakh.

Healy, who missed the T20I leg of the Women’s Ashes, played the series-ending Test as a middle-order batter after clearing a late fitness test. She managed to bat without visible discomfort, scoring 34 in Australia’s only innings. However, she later confirmed her unavailability for the WPL and the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand, which starts just two days after the WPL final on March 15.
Henry, a 29-year-old West Indies all-rounder, will be making her WPL debut. She recently showcased strong form, smashing a 16-ball 43 in a T20I against India and scoring 61 off 72 balls in an ODI of the same series. In her 62 T20Is, she has accumulated 473 runs at a strike rate of 91.13 and taken 22 wickets.
Garth, who previously played for Gujarat Giants, was a key figure in Australia’s Ashes campaign, featuring in all three ODIs, two T20Is, and the Test match, picking up nine wickets. The 28-year-old bowling all-rounder has 49 wickets and 764 runs from 59 T20Is.
Graham, also 28, was part of Mumbai Indians in WPL but did not feature in a match. She has played one ODI and five T20Is for Australia, taking eight wickets.
RCB had earlier named Charlie Dean as a replacement for the injured Sophie Molineux. The WPL 2025 season will start on February 14, with RCB facing Gujarat Giants in Vadodara.
