On the first delivery of the 18th over, bowled by Matheesha Pathirana, KL Rahul unleashed a fierce cut shot towards the boundary. However, Jadeja had different plans as he dived to his left and plucked the ball out of thin air with a breathtaking one-handed catch, exhibiting his trademark grace and agility.
The catch left everyone, including CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and the on-field umpires, awestruck. The umpires sent the decision to the third umpire to verify if Ravindra Jadeja cleanly caught the ball for KL Rahul’s dismissal in IPL 2024.
