[Video] Sarfaraz Ahmed’s Runout Disaster Following Mixup with Rossouw

In the ongoing PSL 2024 clash between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, experienced Pakistan batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed had a disappointing outing, scoring just seven runs. He joined skipper Rilee Rossouw in the middle, but a mix-up led to his run-out in the twelfth over.

During the twelfth over of Quetta Gladiators’ innings, Karachi’s Blessing Muzarabani delivered a short-of-the-length ball, prompting Sarfaraz Ahmed to nudge it towards the off side for a single. However, a miscommunication between Sarfaraz Ahmed and Rossouw led to a disastrous run-out, leaving Sarfaraz stranded mid-pitch.

Capitalizing on the opportunity, Karachi Kings’ fielders executed the run-out swiftly, further denting Quetta Gladiators’ batting lineup. With the Gladiators struggling at 101 for seven in 15.4 overs, the prospect of posting a competitive total appears bleak, especially with Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Hasnain at the crease.
