Tanmay Agarwal, aged 28, led the charge with an extraordinary unbeaten innings of 323 runs off just 160 balls. A landmark awaits Agarwal on Day Two as he eyes the Indian first-class record score of 443, currently held by Bhausaheb Nimbalkar since 1948. Moreover, he has an opportunity to challenge the overall record of 501* held by Brian Lara since 1994.

In the face of Hyderabad’s batting onslaught, Arunachal Pradesh managed 172 runs in their first innings, with Techi Doria top-scoring with an unbeaten 97. Hyderabad’s Chama Milind and Kartikeya Kak showcased bowling excellence, each claiming three wickets.
