Rain returned to Barbados’ Kensington Oval on Wednesday during the T20 World Cup 2024 clash between England and Scotland. Scotland batted first, scoring 90 runs without losing a wicket in 10 overs. The match was then called off, with both teams awarded one point. Both teams shared the points. This result continues England’s streak of not beating any European nation in a T20 World Cup.

Earlier, Scottish openers George Munsey (41) and Michael Jones (45) remained unbeaten, targeting England’s bowlers, particularly Chris Jordan and top-ranked Adil Rashid.

England, led by Jos Buttler, will face Australia next at the same venue on Saturday. Meanwhile, Scotland will play Namibia on Friday at Kensington Oval.
