Tottenham’s skipper, Son Heung-min, remains steadfast in the team’s pursuit of a Champions League spot despite their recent setbacks. With four consecutive defeats under their belt, Spurs’ top-four aspirations are hanging by a thread, but Son insists that the squad must rally together and remain focused on their goals.
Reflecting on their recent performance against Liverpool, Son acknowledged the improvement despite the 4-2 loss. He stressed the importance of unity during tough times and emphasized the need for the team to strengthen their resolve and support each other.
“In football, when you think about the start of the season and we were playing well, everyone was full of joy and there was no pressure. But now is the time that everyone has to step up and stick to what we want to do,” Son remarked.
He also expressed confidence in Tottenham’s trajectory under manager Ange Postecoglou, highlighting the transitional phase with new players adjusting to the Premier League. Son believes that despite the disappointing results, the team is on the right path and urged everyone to work hard and improve.

Midfielder Yves Bissouma echoed Son’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of finishing the season strongly to restore pride. He stressed the need for personal accountability and reiterated the team’s commitment to giving their best in the remaining three games.
“With three games to go, it’s crucial to finish on a positive note. We need to train hard and give our all for the fans and the club,” Bissouma emphasized.
Despite the challenges, both Son and Bissouma remain resolute in their determination to overcome adversity and strive for success in Tottenham’s remaining fixtures.
