Returning to the squad after missing the previous game, Ellyse Perry exhibited her batting prowess with an unbeaten 44* off 38 balls, anchoring RCB’s innings. However, the team faced early struggles, finding themselves at 33/3 during the powerplay, ultimately failing to dominate the game as desired.

Mandhana acknowledged the team’s batting shortcomings, emphasizing the need for improvement in various aspects. Despite Perry’s commendable efforts, RCB could only set a modest target of 132 runs, which Mumbai Indians chased down comfortably. Led by Nat Sciver-Brunt, Mumbai Indians secured victory with contributions from Yastika Bhatia and Amelia Kerr, reclaiming the top spot on the points table while RCB suffered their second consecutive loss, landing them in fourth place.
