India will travel to South Africa in November 2024 for a four-match T20I series, as recently announced by Cricket South Africa (CSA). The series opener is set for November 8 in Durban, followed by matches in Gqeberha, Centurion, and Johannesburg, concluding on November 15.
This marks India’s second tour to South Africa within a year, with their last visit occurring in December 2023-24 for an all-format series. The previous T20I series between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with one game abandoned due to rain.
CSA Chairperson Lawson Naidoo expressed gratitude for the BCCI’s continued support, highlighting the excitement and camaraderie that Indian tours bring to South Africa. Jay Shah, BCCI Secretary, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the strong bond between the two cricketing nations and anticipating high-intensity contests.
