New Zealand’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign ended in disappointment as back-to-back defeats in their opening games dashed their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages. The tournament, co-hosted by the United States and the West Indies, saw New Zealand finishing at the bottom of their group.
Gary Stead, who has been at the helm as head coach since 2018 and guided New Zealand to the final in 2021, expressed uncertainty about his future following the team’s early exit.
