Sloppy fielding by Islamabad, including dropped catches by Imad Wasim, allowed Mohammad Rizwan and Hendricks to build a crucial 71-run partnership for the second wicket. Naseem Shah, returning from injury, made an impact with figures of 2-27, dismissing Dawid Malan in an eventful first over.

Despite early wickets, Agha Salman (52) and Jordan Cox (41) stabilized Islamabad with a 68-run partnership. However, quick wickets from legspinner Usama Mir and timely contributions from Abbas Afridi (3-33) and Mohammad Ali disrupted their progress.

Chasing 145, Sultans faced early challenges, but Hendricks anchored the innings, ensuring victory. Islamabad’s captain Shadab Khan’s 35-run effort wasn’t enough as Afridi and Ali struck at crucial intervals in the death overs.
