With the countdown to IPL 2024 underway, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are ramping up excitement among fans through their social media activities. One of their recent moves involved dropping their popular anthem, “Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo re,” a catchy tune synonymous with the franchise and its fanbase.

KKR shared the anthem video on their social media platforms, urging fans to rally behind the team with the iconic chant, “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo.” The post captioned, ‘One constant chant all around Kolkata – Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo!’ aimed to ignite the passion of KKR supporters ahead of the upcoming season.
Despite a challenging season last year, where they finished seventh under the leadership of Nitish Rana in the absence of Shreyas Iyer, KKR is looking to turn the tide in IPL 2024. With the return of Gautam Gambhir as a mentor and the potential inclusion of Shreyas Iyer back into the fold, the team is banking on a resurgence.
However, there have been recent changes in the squad dynamics, notably the withdrawal of opener Jason Roy from IPL 2024. KKR has replaced Roy, a standout performer last season, with Phil Salt, an English cricketer signed at his reserve price of INR 1.5 crore.
With these developments, Kolkata Knight Riders are gearing up for their IPL 2024 campaign, set to kick off against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23, 2024.
