JP Duminy Appointed Head Coach of Sharjah Warriorz in ILT20

Sharjah Warriorz have appointed former South Africa allrounder JP Duminy as head coach for the International League T20 (ILT20). Duminy, who currently serves as South Africa’s white-ball batting coach, took on this role in late 2023. He has extensive experience in white-ball cricket, playing from 2004 to 2019. Duminy competed in major leagues like the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Indian Premier League (IPL), and Pakistan Super League (PSL).

After retiring from international cricket, Duminy transitioned to coaching, initially working with South Africa’s domestic side Boland Rocks. He then moved on to coach the Paarl Royals in the inaugural season of SA20. His appointment as head coach of Sharjah Warriorz marks a new chapter in his coaching career.
