The BCCI shared a heartwarming video on Twitter, capturing the former India captain interacting with memorabilia from his illustrious cricketing journey, including the coveted World Cup Trophy.

The video commenced with a captivating shot of a screen displaying his score of “91*” from the final match, along with the inscription “MSD; available for the rest of the day,” as he entered a room adorned with frames capturing moments from April 2, 2011. In a touching gesture, Dhoni proceeded to sign images of himself, particularly focusing on the iconic winning six that etched his name in cricketing history.

In a touching moment, Dhoni was seen holding the World Cup trophy, perhaps for the first time in 13 years, before signing more pictures celebrating his memorable innings. The BCCI fittingly captioned the video as “A journey back in time. The legendary MS Dhoni is back where he made history, in Mumbai”.

Moreover, photographers took pictures of the 42-year-old cricket legend holding the 2007 WT20 trophy, adding more nostalgia to his museum visit. Dhoni finished his tour by kindly signing more pictures and jerseys, making his fans very happy.

Dhoni’s Enduring Brilliance on the Field

In what could potentially mark his final appearance at the Wankhede Stadium as a player, Dhoni showcased his enduring brilliance on the field during a crucial IPL clash between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI). With CSK positioned at 186/4 with just four balls remaining, Dhoni stepped up to the challenge and delivered a spectacular performance, smashing three consecutive sixes in his 20-run innings off just four balls. His match-winning display propelled CSK to a triumphant victory over MI by 20 runs, leaving fans awestruck by Dhoni’s enduring magic on the cricket field.
