Chennai Super Kings (CSK) stands as one of the most illustrious franchises in the history of the Indian Premier League, boasting a legion of passionate and devoted fans. This fervent dedication is exemplified by S Ramdas, a remarkable 103-year-old man, whose unwavering love for CSK and cricket radiates brightly.

Despite his age, Ramdas remains an ardent enthusiast of the sport, dedicating his time to watching IPL matches even today. A former member of the British Military’s Army, Ramdas harbors a deep affection for donning the iconic CSK jersey and immersing himself in the excitement of IPL matches from the comfort of his home.
In a touching video posted by Chennai Super Kings, the hundred-year-old fan openly showed his love for the team and his admiration for the famous cricketer, MS Dhoni. He honestly said he wants to meet the respected wicket-keeper batsman, echoing the feelings of many fans across different ages.
As Ramdas approaches his 104th birthday in 2024, he also shared his appreciation for the fast-paced nature of T20 cricket, noting its ability to captivate audiences without the prolonged duration characteristic of traditional formats.
“While I was in school, I had a keen interest in cricket, albeit with a fear of being hit. Though hesitant to play, I find immense joy in watching the sport on TV. T20 games, with their concise format, hold a special appeal for me,” he remarked.
In their upcoming match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 28, 2024, Chennai Super Kings, currently positioned fifth in the points table with four wins from eight matches under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad, will strive to gather momentum and clinch victories in their remaining fixtures.
