Glamorgan has dismissed Grant Bradburn as head coach with immediate effect after the independent Cricket Regulator charged him with misconduct. The club referred the 58-year-old to the regulator following allegations of inappropriate behavior. Glamorgan stated they conducted a “fair and transparent process” to address the matter.

The club emphasized its “zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory behavior of any kind” in a statement. Following an internal investigation, Glamorgan concluded that Bradburn’s position was untenable and have since extended support to those impacted by the incident.
“At Glamorgan, we put the well-being of our people first and are giving support to those affected,” said club chair Mark Rhydderch-Roberts. He also stressed the club’s dedication to making sure everyone feels respected, included, and treated fairly.
Bradburn’s tenure at Glamorgan lasted just one season. During this time, the club achieved a significant milestone by securing the Metro Bank One-Day Cup in a rain-affected final at Trent Bridge in September. However, their performance in other competitions was less remarkable, finishing sixth in both the County Championship’s second division and the T20 Blast South Group.
Bradburn had joined Glamorgan in January on a three-year contract, following a brief stint as Pakistan men’s head coach. His association with the Pakistan Cricket Board began in 2018 as an assistant coach before transitioning to the role of head of high-performance coaching in 2020.
The decision to part ways with Bradburn marks a swift end to what initially appeared to be a promising collaboration, with Glamorgan now focusing on supporting its team and maintaining its organizational values.
