MotoGP is set to kick off its first full pre-season test of 2025 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from February 5 to 7. This highly anticipated session follows last week’s shakedown test, which was limited to test riders, rookies, and factory teams from Yamaha and Honda.
Unlike the shakedown, this week’s test will see the entire grid take to the track, offering teams and riders their first chance to evaluate their 2025 machines head-to-head before the season opener in Thailand on March 2.

Who Will Participate in the Sepang Test?

Notable appearances include Marc Márquez’s official debut with Ducati, reigning world champion Jorge Martín riding for Aprilia, and rookie sensation Pedro Acosta stepping up with KTM. Honda’s full factory squad—which skipped last week’s session despite being eligible—will also be in action.
