The Sepang MotoGP Shakedown provided a glimpse of the latest aerodynamic innovations from top manufacturers, offering insights into their strategies for the upcoming season.
Yamaha:

Yamaha showcased a radical version of the latest M1 aero design, featuring a double-plane front wing, square rear seat wing, and a Ducati-style lower fairing vent.
KTM:

KTM continued to use its zebra camouflage, attempting to conceal aerodynamic details. The latest RC16 design, sometimes equipped with a new front fender wing, was observed in plain black.
Honda:

Honda, acknowledging the need to catch up in aerodynamics, tested various established aero features, including fork wings, a rear wing, ‘stegosaurus’ vanes, and stepped ground effect side fairings.
Aprilia:

Aprilia unveiled a distinctive ‘batmobile’ style rear body work, reflecting the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries in aerodynamics. The Aprilia, recognized for its eye-catching external design, also focuses on investing in internal aerodynamics for optimal air flow.
Ducati:

promised different fairing design for 2024, presenting a combination of ground effect style fairing with vents and air channels. The Ducati retained its rear seat vanes, deviating from the traditional wing approach adopted by other manufacturers.
The manufacturers showcased their latest innovations during the Shakedown, but the full extent of their developments may not be evident.
