As the football season ramps up following international tournaments and the Olympics, reigning MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia has teamed up with Juventus to unveil the club’s new third kit.
Bagnaia, a long-time supporter of Juventus, features prominently in the promotional campaign for the club’s striking new blue and gold kit. The design, inspired by the “reflection of the moon in the starry skies,” marks a stylish addition to Juventus’ kit lineup.
The timing of the kit launch aligns with Bagnaia’s busy MotoGP schedule, sandwiched between the British Grand Prix, where he secured a third-place finish, and the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix.
This collaboration is not Bagnaia’s first foray into football-themed promotions. Earlier this year, his Ducati Lenovo Team sported the Maglia Azzurro, showcasing Italy’s national colors in anticipation of Euro 2024 and the Paris Olympics.
Other MotoGP riders have also embraced football connections. Fabio Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia’s Ducati teammate, appeared in a Serie A match last December, showcasing his helmet design that reflects his admiration for AS Roma. Similarly, in 2021, Fabio Quartararo was introduced at Paris Saint-Germain’s Parc des Princes, and Marc Marquez previously showcased a Honda RC213V at RB Leipzig’s stadium ahead of the 2019 German Grand Prix.
Bagnaia’s involvement in Juventus’ kit launch highlights the ongoing crossover between the worlds of football and motorsport, celebrating shared passions and promoting iconic sportswear.
