Despite Enea Bastianini’s stellar showing at the recent Portuguese MotoGP event, concerns about his Ducati contract for 2025 continue to linger.
Bastianini is well aware that his current contract expires at the end of this season, and his Ducati Desmosedici GP24 bike is attracting attention from across the grid.
Riders like Pramac’s Jorge Martin and Gresini’s Marc Marquez are eyeing Bastianini’s factory ride with hopes of benefiting from the developmental advantages that come with such a status.
However, Bastianini made a statement at Portimao by securing pole position, demonstrating his capabilities on the track.
He followed up with a strong sixth-place finish in the sprint race and an impressive second-place finish in the grand prix.
