Following the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and amidst internal power struggles at Red Bull, rumors surfaced suggesting that Helmut Marko’s position within the team was in jeopardy.
Helmut Marko hinted at the possibility of suspension due to allegations of involvement in leaking information to the media regarding investigations into Christian Horner’s conduct. However, after discussions with Red Bull managing director Oliver Mintzlaff. It was clarified that Marko was not implicated in any wrongdoing, and his role would continue.
In an interview with Austrian broadcaster ORF before the race, Marko vehemently denied any involvement in the leaks, suggesting that someone may have orchestrated the situation to undermine him.
