In anticipation of a special occasion, DS Penske is gearing up to make a memorable statement at the Monaco Formula E round, drawing inspiration from both the event’s significance and the team’s partnership.
With the race being in close proximity to Stellantis Motorsport’s headquarters in the Paris region and serving as an excellent platform for engaging with customers and enthusiasts, DS Automobiles, in collaboration with Penske Autosport, plans to adorn its two DS E-TENSE FE23 electric single-seaters with a distinctive ‘Grand Gala’ livery.
The design features a striking combination of deep black with gold logos, paying homage to the luxurious atmosphere of Monegasque soirées and the esteemed heritage of motorsport’s iconic event.
Eugenio Franzetti, Director of DS Performance, expressed the team’s excitement for the occasion, stating, “For this special and unique round, we have designed cars that are just as unique.”
The team’s approach extends beyond the livery, as the drivers’ overalls and helmets will also reflect the gala-inspired theme.

Furthermore, the DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360, serving as the team’s transportation to Monaco, will don the same distinguished design.
To commemorate the event, Automobilist.com will produce a collector’s poster, allowing fans to preserve the memory of this extraordinary moment.
Amidst the anticipation surrounding the Monaco round, driver Jean-Eric Vergne achieved a significant milestone after the Misano double-header, accumulating the highest number of points (1,047) in the championship since his Formula E debut in 2014.
Reflecting on this achievement, Vergne expressed his satisfaction and emphasized his focus on future accomplishments.

As Monaco holds a special allure for every driver, Vergne and his teammate Stoffel Vandoorne, both former champions, have experienced the thrill of victory on the prestigious circuit.
With the competitive performance of DS Penske’s electric single-seaters evident in recent races, there’s optimism for a strong showing in Monaco.
As the drivers don their dinner jackets for the post-race gala, the elegant attire will complement the ‘special Monaco’ livery, creating a cohesive and memorable visual experience for fans and enthusiasts alike.
