In a surprising turn of events, Bayern Munich is reportedly targeting Jack Grealish from Manchester City as Vincent Kompany prepares for his first summer transfer move as the potential new manager of Bayern.
Kompany, set to take the reins at Bayern following Thomas Tuchel’s departure, previously led Burnley to the Championship title in the 2022/23 season. While Burnley faced relegation from the Premier League this season, Kompany remains determined to rebuild Bayern’s squad.
The 38-year-old manager has reportedly identified Grealish as a prime target for Bayern’s squad overhaul. Kompany holds a high regard for the midfielder and believes that a move to Germany could be enticing for the former Aston Villa player.
