This recent incident adds to a series of challenges Greenwood has faced during his time in Spain. In February, Getafe lodged a complaint against Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, alleging that Bellingham had verbally attacked Greenwood during a match.

Greenwood’s loan spell at Getafe is set to end at the conclusion of the season. Manchester United has indicated that Greenwood will not return to the club and is open to selling him, with Barcelona reportedly interested in his services.

Despite the challenges, Greenwood is said to be content with his current situation and open to a permanent move to Spain in the upcoming transfer window. Getafe has six more La Liga matches remaining in the season before its conclusion on May 26th.
