Ghanaian defender Kasim Adams has signed with Swiss Super League club Servette for the 2024/25 season on a free transfer. The 29-year-old centre-back joins Servette after leaving Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, where his contract expired following the 2023/24 season.

This move marks a return to familiar territory for Adams, who had a successful loan spell with Swiss club Basel during the 2022/23 season. His time in Switzerland has been fruitful, as he also previously played for Young Boys earlier in his career.

Adams has agreed to a one-year contract with Servette, with the option to extend for an additional year. His experience and defensive strength will bolster the team’s backline as they compete at the top level in the Swiss Super League.

Switzerland has become somewhat of a second home for Adams, given his multiple stints in the country’s football scene. His familiarity with the league and proven track record make him a valuable addition to Servette’s squad for the upcoming season.

With experience in the Bundesliga and Swiss football, Adams will play a key role for Servette. He is expected to help them achieve their goals in the 2024/25 campaign.
