Ian Wright has taken a controversial stance by supporting referee Glenn Nyberg’s decision to dismiss Bukayo Saka’s penalty claims against Bayern Munich.
Saka’s plea for a penalty was turned down by Nyberg after a collision with Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer during injury time. Despite Saka’s protests and a heated exchange with the referee after the match, Nyberg remained unmoved, signaling no foul.
