Belfast, Northern Ireland – Linfield have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of highly-rated winger Callumn Morrison from Falkirk.
The 25-year-old, a product of the Hearts academy, made 30 first-team appearances for the Edinburgh club before moving to Falkirk, where he established himself as one of the Scottish lower leagues’ standout performers.
Morrison played a pivotal role in Falkirk’s unbeaten 2023-24 campaign, helping them secure promotion to the Scottish Championship. His impressive performances saw him named PFA Scotland League One Player of the Year and crowned the league’s top scorer, earning the prestigious Golden Boot.
Over his tenure at Falkirk, Morrison racked up more than 150 appearances, netting 64 goals, solidifying his reputation as a lethal attacking threat.
David Healy: “A Player We’ve Admired for Some Time”

Linfield boss David Healy expressed his excitement at securing Morrison’s signature, describing the winger as a long-term target.
“It’s no secret that Callumn is a player we have admired and attempted to sign for some time, and we are thrilled to bring him to Linfield,” Healy said.
“His pace, creativity, and goal-scoring ability will add another dimension to our attack. He also brings valuable title-winning experience, which will be crucial as we push for further success.”
Healy also emphasized that Morrison turned down interest from Scottish Premiership clubs to join Linfield, highlighting his ambition to win silverware in Northern Ireland.
“Callumn could easily have stayed in Scotland with Premiership interest, but he made it clear he wanted to come to Linfield and build on his ambition to win trophies,” Healy added. “I believe he will be a fantastic addition to our squad.”
Linfield Strengthening for a Title Charge
Morrison is Linfield’s second major attacking signing in recent weeks, following the arrival of St Mirren forward Kieran Offord, who previously spent time on loan at Crusaders.
The Blues sit 19 points clear at the top of the Irish Premiership table, and Morrison’s arrival further strengthens their squad ahead of the season’s final stretch.
Linfield’s next fixture is an away clash against Ballymena United, which will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app on Friday night.
