David Moyes wasted no time in securing his next venture after the announcement of his departure from West Ham at the end of the season, albeit in a different capacity than management.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Moyes would be parting ways with West Ham “via mutual consent” after over four years at the helm of the London Stadium. However, Moyes swiftly lined up his next move and showed little intention of taking a break.
Moyes is slated to join talkSPORT as part of their team providing coverage for EURO 2024. The broadcaster announced their acquisition on social media, stating, “Give it Moysey for the Euros. David Moyes joins the talkSPORT team to provide his expert insight and analysis throughout the tournament.”
The Premier League veteran will be joined by other football personalities like Emmanuel Petit and Ashley Young in offering coverage during the summer tournament. Notably, former adversaries of Moyes, Alan Pardew and Graeme Souness, will also be part of talkSPORT’s team in Germany.

While Moyes’s contract with West Ham expires at the season’s end. The Scottish manager reflected positively on his time with the club. During his tenure, West Ham achieved significant milestones, including securing consecutive European qualifications and winning the Europa Conference League title.
