Udinese are reportedly seeking to bring Alexis Sanchez back to Friuli more than a decade after his departure from the Italian club. The 35-year-old Chilean forward, who spent five years with Udinese in his youth. Is now a free agent following a season with Inter Milan.
Sanchez originally joined Udinese as a teenager and enjoyed a successful stint, scoring 21 goals in 112 appearances before moving to Barcelona in 2011. His subsequent career included notable spells at Arsenal and Manchester United, before his return to Inter Milan last season.

The details of Udinese’s offer are not fully disclosed, but the prospect of Sanchez returning to a club where he previously made a significant impact is exciting for fans who remember his successful first spell.
Meanwhile, both Arsenal and Manchester United have been active in the transfer market. Arsenal have added Riccardo Calafiori and secured a permanent deal for David Raya. Manchester United have brought in Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, though injuries to Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund may prompt further additions. United manager Erik ten Hag has mentioned Jadon Sancho as a potential option up front. Similar to Sanchez’s past role transition from winger to striker.
Ten Hag commented on the situation: “If Rasmus is unavailable, we can consider Jadon as a striker. He’s versatile and can play in various attacking roles. Marcus Rashford has also played as a forward before, but he’s most effective starting wide. We have other options as well, including Bruno Fernandes who can play as a striker.”
