Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) and T Ten Global Sports are thrilled to announce the return of the Zim Afro T10 tournament for its second edition. This fast-paced and highly entertaining T10 cricket league will take center stage from September 21 to September 29 in Harare, concluding with a grand finale.
The organizers will soon reveal the specific dates for the player draft and fixtures. All matches will take place at the iconic Harare Sports Club, continuing the tradition from the inaugural season. Last year, Zim Afro T10 made history as the first tournament held under floodlights at this venue. The high standard of cricket captivated fans daily and significantly boosted Zimbabwe’s cricket ecosystem.
The T10 franchise league is expanding its global reach, having had seven successful seasons in Abu Dhabi and now extending to the USA, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. ZC Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, anticipating another festival-like celebration of cricket that will enhance the country’s white-ball game and positively impact the cricketing community.
