Yuzvendra Chahal Models RR’s IPL 2024 Jersey Release [Video]

Yuzvendra Chahal, the premier Indian spinner, recently unveiled the new jersey of the Rajasthan Royals franchise ahead of their IPL 2024 campaign.

In a video shared by the franchise on their social media platforms, Chahal humorously interacted with teammates Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson while revealing the team’s new playing jersey.

The footage, released roughly two weeks before the start of IPL 2024, showed Chahal wandering around the streets and gym before finally unveiling the mock jersey. Despite initial disapproval from Samson and Buttler, Chahal eventually revealed the Royals’ brand new match kit for the upcoming season.

While retaining the iconic pink and blue colors of the Rajasthan Royals, the latest kit features several new shades and a visible change in sponsorship.

During the player retention phase in November, the Rajasthan Royals squad retained Chahal, who delivered an impressive performance in IPL 2023, securing 21 wickets from just 14 innings at an average of 20.57.

Although he has not featured in any international matches for Team India since August 2023, a successful IPL season could put Chahal back in contention for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Sanju Samson will lead the Rajasthan Royals in their opening IPL 2024 match against the Lucknow Super Giants at their home ground in Jaipur on March 24.
