The Women’s Asia Cup cricket competition, now in its ninth edition, includes eight teams divided into two groups. This edition sees an increase of one team from the 2022 tournament.

Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia
India, the seven-time champions and defending titleholders, are in Group A alongside Pakistan, UAE, and Nepal. Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Key Dates and Matches
The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals scheduled for July 26. The final match is slated for July 28.
The inaugural Women’s Asia Cup was held in 2004 in Sri Lanka, with the first four editions played in the One Day International (ODI) format. India has appeared in all eight finals, winning seven and losing one to Bangladesh in 2018. Sri Lanka has been runners-up five times, while Pakistan has made the final twice.
In the last edition, held in Bangladesh, India restricted Sri Lanka to 65/9 in the final and won the match with nine wickets to spare. Jemimah Rodrigues of India topped the tournament’s run-scoring charts.
