Kemar Roach improved in his second spell, finishing with 2 for 23, while Alzarri Joseph took 2 for 40.

Opener Tim Ward stood out for Cricket Australia XI, scoring a half-century with seven boundaries. However, West Indies managed to regroup and make significant breakthroughs.

The West Indies team declared overnight to provide their bowlers with an opportunity in Australian conditions. Shamar Joseph, one of the seven uncapped players in the Windies squad, delivered a compelling performance, potentially earning a spot in the Test side.
