Since Khan’s imprisonment, there has been a widespread demand among the Pakistani public for his release. Fans voiced their support during Pakistan’s high-profile 2024 T20 World Cup clash against India in New York on June 9, with an aircraft displaying the message “Release Imran Khan” above the Nassau County Stadium.
