Indian stars Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav were seen putting in intense practice sessions ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024’s second leg in the Caribbean.

Kuldeep, yet to make a significant impact in the tournament, joined Kohli and Jadeja in the nets. Despite a challenging start, Kohli and Jadeja showed determination to bounce back. Kohli, who struggled with scores of 1, 4, and 0 in his three innings, and Jadeja, who has yet to take a wicket, score runs, or take a catch, were both keen to improve their performance.
Kohli spent over 30 minutes on throw-downs before facing Kuldeep and Hardik Pandya. He practiced powerful shots, including extra cover drives and pull shots against Jasprit Bumrah. Kohli also focused on perfecting his slog sweeps, a skill he excelled at during IPL 2024.
In the adjacent nets, Jadeja was seen vigorously practicing his batting. The team, overall, appeared in good form during the session, with Rishabh Pant also facing bowlers. Following them, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal took their turns at the crease.
Bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj also practiced rigorously, honing their skills.
India is set to face Afghanistan in their opening Super 8 fixture at the Kensington Oval on June 20 (Thursday).
