The excitement for IPL 2024 is heating up as teams assemble their squads and begin training. For the Rajasthan Royals (RR), the arrival of star player Sanju Samson at their Jaipur camp marked a significant moment. The team welcomed him with open arms, rightfully calling him a “SUPERSTAR” on their Instagram post.

Other key players like Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Riyan Parag have also joined the camp, alongside esteemed management staff including Kumar Sangakkara and Shane Bond. However, there’s a notable absence – leading pacer Prasidh Krishna, who will miss the season due to a quadricep injury sustained during the Ranji Trophy 2024.
Sanju Samson, who dons the captain’s hat for RR, boasts an impressive leadership record. In his 45 IPL matches as captain, he has steered the Royals to victory in 22 matches, while facing defeat in 23. Notably, under his captaincy, the team reached the IPL 2022 finals, ultimately falling short to the Gujarat Titans.
With the core team assembled and training in full swing, the Royals, under Sanju Samson’s leadership, are gearing up for a strong showing in IPL 2024.
