Rishabh Pant showcased his phenomenal form in the IPL 2024 match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Vizag on Wednesday, smashing consecutive half-centuries. Making a remarkable comeback to cricket after a nearly year-and-a-half absence, the 26-year-old played with exceptional aggression against KKR, particularly targeting Venkatesh Iyer with a variety of shots, proving his skills remain sharp.

Even though they had to chase a big score of 273 runs, Pant showed no fear against KKR’s bowlers, especially hitting Venkatesh Iyer hard. In an exciting 12th over of DC’s innings, Pant hit a lot of fours and sixes, scoring a huge 28 runs off Iyer.
Pant’s explosive knock propelled him to a rapid fifty off just 23 balls before Varun Chakravarthy dismissed him in the following over. Earlier, KKR batsmen Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Rinku Singh all contributed aggressively, propelling their team to a formidable total of 272/7. However, despite Pant’s heroics, DC found themselves struggling at 161/9 after 16.2 overs, facing a potential defeat.
