Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing CSK legend Michael Hussey to claim the number four spot for highest run scorers in franchise history.
Gaikwad’s stellar knock of 98 runs against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium propelled him to this achievement. His match-winning innings, a blazing 98 runs off just 54 balls decorated with 10 boundaries and 3 sixes, played a pivotal role in securing a crucial victory for CSK. Opening the innings, Gaikwad’s exceptional performance left SRH with little chance for a comeback.
