Anirudhsinh Jadeja, father of renowned cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, has shed light on the strained relationship between himself, his son, and Ravindra’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja.
According to Anirudhsinh, the once-close bond between father and son began to deteriorate after Ravindra’s marriage to Rivaba in February 2016. Anirudhsinh expressed his sadness over the situation, stating that he currently resides alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra lives separately in his own bungalow within the same city. He lamented the apparent influence Rivaba has had on his son, remarking on their limited interaction.
Anirudhsinh recounted how, shortly after the marriage, Rivaba requested that all assets be transferred to her name, causing friction within the family. He also revealed that he has not had the opportunity to meet his grand daughter for the past five years, citing interference from Rivaba’s family in familial matters.
Rivaba Jadeja, who entered politics by joining the BJP in 2019, achieved success in the 2022 Gujarat assembly elections from the Jamnagar (north) constituency. Her background in mechanical engineering and previous involvement with the Karni Sena’s women’s wing adds complexity to the family dynamics.
In response to the interview given by his father, Ravindra Jadeja denounced it as scripted and aimed at tarnishing Rivaba’s reputation. Sharing his sentiments through a graphic plate on social media, Ravindra expressed his disregard for the interview’s content and emphasized that the allegations made against his wife were baseless.
Addressing the issue in Gujarati, Ravindra clarified that the interview presented a one sided perspective and that he categorically denied the accusations. He condemned the attempts to defame his wife and hinted at having his own grievances but opted not to discuss them publicly.
The revelations regarding the Jadeja family dynamics have sparked controversy, shedding light on the complexities and challenges faced within the family unit.
