The IPL 2026 leaderboards saw major changes after Sunday’s matches between Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Several standout performances reshaped both the Orange and Purple Cap standings.

In the race for the Orange Cap, Rajat Patidar made a big jump to second place. The RCB captain continued his strong form, scoring a quick 53 off just 20 balls against Mumbai. With consistent performances of 31, 48*, 63, and now 53, he has taken his season tally to 195 runs. He now sits just behind Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals, who remains the leading run-scorer.
Close behind Patidar is Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal holds the fourth position, but is closely followed by Virat Kohli, who climbed to fifth after scoring his second half-century of the season. Kohli’s recent scores—69*, 28, 32, and 50—highlight his steady form.
In the Purple Cap standings, Prasidh Krishna has taken the top spot. The Gujarat Titans pacer delivered an excellent spell of 4 for 28 against Lucknow, bringing his total to 10 wickets in four matches. He has moved ahead of Ravi Bishnoi, who now has nine wickets.
Following them is Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, Prince Yadav and Jacob Duffy share the fourth spot with six wickets each, keeping the competition tight.
