Pakistan has announced their playing XI for the second Test against West Indies, with a notable change in the bowling attack. Khurram Shahzad makes way for debutant Kashif Ali, who will make his first appearance in the series at Multan Cricket Stadium.

The batting lineup remains unchanged, with experienced opener Shan Masood leading the side. He will partner Mohammad Huraira at the top, while Babar Azam continues at number three. Kamran Ghulam follows at four, and dependable middle-order batter Saud Shakeel occupies the fifth spot. Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, who has been in excellent form, will bat at number six.

Pakistan’s all-rounder Agha Salman, who contributes both with the bat and ball, will play at number seven. The spin department will be led by Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, who were instrumental in Pakistan’s dominant win in the first Test. They will be joined by Abrar Ahmed, a bowler known for his tricky deliveries that can pose problems for the opposition.
In the first Test, Pakistan’s performance was dominant. Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, and Mohammad Rizwan played crucial knocks, while the spin duo of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan decimated the West Indies batting order. As a result, Pakistan secured a commanding 127-run victory, taking a one-nil lead in the series.
The hosts will look to continue their winning momentum and aim for another strong performance as they prepare for the second Test.
