West Indies have called up Obed McCoy to replace the injured Matthew Forde for the remaining two T20Is against England. Forde, initially included in the squad as cover for the suspended Alzarri Joseph, sustained a thigh strain during training ahead of the third T20I of the five-match series.

Forde played in the second T20I in Barbados but replaced Joseph in St Lucia, where West Indies trailed 3-0 in the series. This defeat meant England secured their first series win in the Caribbean since 2019, making the remaining two matches crucial for the West Indies.
McCoy, who had missed the start of the series due to an injury sustained during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), last played for West Indies in August during their home series against South Africa. The team has called him back to bolster the squad for the final matches of the series, which will take place at the Daren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia over the weekend.
With England already clinching the series, the West Indies will aim to salvage pride in the remaining games and avoid a whitewash. McCoy’s inclusion adds experience to the squad as they look to turn the tide in their favor.
