Despite his busy schedule, he found time to enjoy a game of street cricket with local kids. Kapil Dev, Ross Taylor, and Ajaz Patel also joined the fun, adding star power to the friendly match.

During his meeting with Modi, Luxon jokingly mentioned India’s victory over New Zealand in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy final. He expressed relief that Modi did not bring up New Zealand’s defeat in the final. Luxon also praised the Indian team for their dominant performance in Dubai, calling Rohit Sharma’s side the “most dominant team in the world.”
