In the ongoing second season of SA20 at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, MI Cape Town, led by Pollard, faced last edition’s semifinalists, Joburg Super Kings. Rassie van der Dussen’s century powered MI Cape Town to set an imposing target of 244 runs.
As JSK began their chase, Moeen Ali’s aggressive batting initially posed a challenge. However, in the sixth over, Pollard’s strategic bowling, delivered by Beuran Hendricks, led to a crucial breakthrough. Moeen Ali, after depositing one into the stands, attempted another big shot, only to find Pollard diving to his right and securing an outstanding catch.
Pollard’s tall stature played to his advantage in completing this remarkable catch, adding another gem to his extensive collection of spectacular catches in T20 cricket.

The list of top catch-takers in T20 cricket includes David Miller in second place with 286 catches, followed by Dwayne Bravo with 265 catches. Shoaib Malik and Alex Hales complete the top five with 218 and 215 catches, respectively.
