1. Glenn Maxwell

- Team: Royal Challengers Bengaluru
- Price: Rs 11 crore
- Performance: The Australian all-rounder managed just 52 runs from 10 innings, including four ducks. His disappointing season was capped by a first-ball duck in the crucial Eliminator match against Rajasthan Royals.
2. Hardik Pandya

- Team: Mumbai Indians
- Price: Rs 15 crore
- Performance: Pandya’s return to Mumbai Indians as captain was disastrous. MI finished at the bottom of the standings with only four wins. Pandya scored 216 runs without a fifty and took 11 wickets at an economy rate over 10.
3. Liam Livingstone

- Team: Punjab Kings
- Price: Rs 11.5 crore
- Performance: The big-hitting Livingstone scored just 111 runs in seven games without a single fifty. Punjab Kings won only one of the matches he played.
4. Mayank Agarwal

- Team: Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Price: Rs 8.25 crore
- Performance: Agarwal scored a mere 64 runs in four matches and was dropped due to his inability to adapt to the team’s aggressive approach.
5. David Warner

- Team: Delhi Capitals
- Price: Rs 6.25 crore
- Performance: Warner missed most of the season due to injury and struggled when he played, tallying 168 runs in eight innings at a strike rate of 134.
6. Aiden Markram

- Team: Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Price: Rs 2.6 crore
- Performance: Markram scored 220 runs in 11 games at a strike rate of 124 and failed in the crucial Eliminator and final matches.
